A new breakfast club has been launched at Dyffryn Banwy Nursery School.

Dyffryn Banwy Nursery School provides 18 hours of early education and childcare per week. To respond to the needs of parents and the wider community, they have expanded their service by offering a breakfast club.
Through our Awards for All programme, Dyffryn Banwy Nursery School received a National Lottery grant of over £5,000. The grant has enabled them to relocate the nursery, pay for staff and fees and create marketing materials for the breakfast club. Read more about our National Lottery Awards for All programme here.
The breakfast club helps children to reach their full potential by providing a free and nutritious meal for them. The service will be fully funded by this grant, and therefore no further costs will be incurred by parents.
The club is now located in a purpose-built cabin at Cwm Banwy School, which is accessible to local parents and children.
On behalf of The National Lottery Community Fund, our Head of Communications Ruth Bates went to see how children of the Banwy Valley are benefitting from this service.
